This home is a good example of a postwar home that has always been well kept, therefore needed very little work to bring it up to Council approval at the new site. It was a very affordable choice for a young family who had limited financial means. They now have a solid four bedroom home with a modern kitchen, polished floors and back deck. They would never have been able to get a new home built for the same cost. The parents loved getting out of the rental rut, and the kids love having their own bedrooms and being able to have chooks and pets which were not allowed in a rental situation.
